"This place is truly a gem and hands down the best Chinese restaurant around. The food is unique, flavorful, and consistently delicious—nothing short of spectacular. The service is excellent; despite being very busy, the staff never seem stressed or frustrated, which says a lot about their professionalism. The venue is a bit small, but it never feels cramped. The only minor downside is that the first two tables near the entrance can feel a little impersonal, with delivery drivers and other guests waiting nearby, and during winter, cold air from outside can be noticeable in that area. That said, this is easily my family’s favorite place to eat. Parking is convenient as well, with free parking available in the adjacent lot"

"Amazing Chinese food! As someone accustomed to the Chinese food in NYC and California, I’d like to think my standards are pretty high, yet YooYee clearly delivered! I was pleasantly surprised - the twice cooked pork, noodles, and cauliflower were all exceptionally done. I think my favorite had to be the twice cooked pork: that sauce was truly something special - I need to figure out their recipe. While the food was delicious, the wait was also pretty hefty - at 5PM on a Sunday, you can still expect to wait a solid 30 minutes. However, if you’re willing to stomach a wait, it is certainly worth it for the quality of the food!"

"My parents and I just came back from YooYee on a Friday night. We had a great experience and enjoyed the food. We walked in around 4:45pm and had to wait a little for a table. And after we sat down, people started lining up outside of the restaurant (There was still a line when we left. ) Everyone working in the restaurant was very friendly and welcoming. Food was delicious! Also each main dish comes with a bowl of rice. We recommend this restaurant"

"Great newer casual spot in Uptown. We thoroughly enjoyed the wontons, scallion pancake, and green beans to start off! Truly great flavors, great texture for all. The texture of the hand pulled noodles were to die for, we got the beef brisket and the meat was delicious and tender. We also had pork belly and pork ribs, both absolutely standouts. And as a nice cool side dish we got the cucumber. The cucumber turned out to be one of our favorites! Great flavorful sauce! For dessert our favorite was the Hong Kong milk tea ice cream."

"Went in for a casual Saturday night dinner. We read all the reviews and were prepared to wait an hour, which we did. We have tried and really like other Szechuan restaurants in Chicago - but this will go into the rotation of favorites. Our go-to menu items are always a fish soup (if you know, you know), cold sesame noodles, and sautéed green beans, which all were very well done. We also have been hunting for cumin lamb and theirs was excellent. Also great portions, well priced, lots of leftovers. We will be back."

"Amazing experience at YooYee 喜又! The food was absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. Every dish tasted authentic and thoughtfully prepared. The service was attentive and friendly, making us feel very welcome throughout the meal. The atmosphere was clean, comfortable, and relaxing, perfect for enjoying a great meal. Highly recommended if you’re looking for high-quality food and a great dining experience. I’ll definitely be coming back!"

"This viral Sichuan spot definitely hit the mark! This was the perfect meal for a chilly winter day. We came around 1 on a Sunday, and it was completely packed, but the waitlist wasn’t too long. They’ll text you when your table’s ready, so you can take the time exploring the area or trying a fun bakery. The interior is bright and clean, and the workers here are very friendly and attentive. We got the popular spicy braised beef brisket hand-pulled noodle soup and the sweet-skinned duck. The soup was so soothing and wasn’t super spicy but still had a very deep flavor. The noodles were incredible with the perfect texture and felt never ending in length. The beef was extremely tender and juicy, but there weren’t too many pieces. The duck was a little greasy but very tender and meaty. Overall, the portion sizes were great, and the food was delicious, so I will absolutely be stopping in again the next time I’m in Argyle!"
